Dr. Danielle Groenen is a Research Scientist at The University of Alabama in Huntsville working on NASA’s Interagency Implementation and Advanced Concepts Team (IMPACT). She currently works on the Multi-Mission Algorithm and Analysis Platform (MAAP) and the Airborne Data Management Group (ADMG). Past work was related to mission/data documentation and science outreach within the Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) at the NASA Langley Research Center. In 2019, she graduated from Florida State University with a Ph.D. in Meteorology. Dr. Groenen’s Ph.D. dissertation was related to diagnosing Central American rainfall patterns and determining the dynamics involved in triggering the onset and demise of the rainy season.
